Rachel Grabenstein grew up in the mountains of North Carolina before heading out west to the University of Montana in Missoula, MT. From there she graduated with a B.S. in Wildlife Biology and discovered her love of the outdoors. She worked for the National Park Service for several summers before deciding to give youth outdoor education a try. She currently works with Canyonlands Field Institute, connecting elementary and middle schoolers to the Colorado Plateau. Rachel has been babysitting for several years and worked with kids throughout her time in school and with the Park Service.
