You cannot beat this campground for its proximity to town and the fact that this campground is on a beautifully maintained bike path that leads straight to town. You also cannot beat the scenery and the fact that it’s biking distance to some amazing recreational opportunities. Wonderful place for families to camp and very affordable. Pit toilets only.

Canyonlands RV - Private CG
This campground has great, new, clean facilities. It also has a playground and a pool which are two kid essentials. It is located in town, walking distance from restaurants, main street, grocery store and Starbucks! Also, it’s close to the bike path which leads to numerous playgrounds and kids friendly places in town!
Because it’s in town the spaces are smaller, but they do allow campfires in the tent section!
Fairfield Inn And Suites
This hotel is located a bit out of town, but what makes it one of our favorites is that it connects to a bike path which leads to spectacular petroglyphs, dinosaur tracks, a climbing park the river road or to town. Yes, all that within a walking distance from the hotel! Better fit for families with older kids who can ride a bike or walk, but also perfect for walks with a stroller.
